Your driving a value truck speced for lowest cost. You do not receive layover, breakdown, or detention. This isn't about whiners, knights a junk company. Don't forget to scrutinize your paystubs to see what they "forgot" to pay you or reimburse.
Any inside info on who Knight is merging with?

I'm sorry to burst your bubble but I have no problems getting my layover and detention pay. Never needed the breakdown pay. In fact I got a day of layover earlier this month because I got to Portland on Saturday and didn't get out till Monday due to no weekend freight.

Nothing wrong that, I guess. I never got it except once. It was $45 before tax for a total of $1.10 per hour after tax. I don't know about you but I work to make money. $1.10 per hour is not much but what would expect from a company that creates high turnover to increase profit.

Wait, a person from Georgia talking about anything being lazy? Well doesn't that just beat all.

no argument with that, I always say anything other then driving costs me money.

Every company has the group of drivers that would rather cry as run, then cry about not running. Or complain about what there making based off crap they hear and believe from other drivers. By the way oldest daughter is older than you are and I'm (for the record) not sitting around complaining about how hard I run or how much I make. I kind of feel like "Shut up and drive" or "If you don't like there's the door" takes care of the whiner's. If your happy with Knight more power to ya, enjoy the ride.....

I heard that Knight and Swift are merging to become the worlds largest carrier, the Knights got their feet wet at the Swift Institute of Trucking in AZ. and worked for Swift before creating Knight. Makes sense to me..
-
Been hearing rumers that Knight is still trying to get Weastern Express but may be dropping that to go after Stevens Transport. Anyone else hearing that?
-
i just started with knight, i was told that a relative of knight married someone in the upper echelon of swift and could be merging.

Didn't mr knight leave swift to do a better company?
