Any small broker with little overhead can shine in these times by undercutting the big brokers customers and at the same time pay more than what these big brokers are offering to trucks. You must remember that these mega carriers and brokers make their bread and butter of volumes of loads available, when the volumes dry up so will their businesses and they end up panicking by posting 85cent a mile load :biggrin_1square:

I raise chickens. Them standard broilers don’t need steroids to grow that fast. They have been bred over many, many years to grow that fast. So the ones you’re getting at the store or hormone free. It’s kind of the law. This does not apply to cattle. Which I have raised as well.Interesting thing about the broiler’s is when I butcher them they’re so easy to butcher. The throat’s cut nice and easy the bones break without a struggle and the guts just slide out. If you come over I’ll show you but you get to pull the feathers off!!

You need one of these. I drop in two birds, 30 seconds later plucked clean...

Iowa Farms can't move their hogs. It is so bad I have a friend who is euthanizing his new litters. Packing houses in Iowa are shutting down to clean. Most of Iowas covid infections are in the packing houses because of the close work environment. The situation is pretty bad here. Hogs are the staple of the Iowa Economy.
