Go for a walk. A good walk. The blood pumping pushes open your constricted blood vessels. Stress causes them to constrict, decreasing blood flow to all your vitals. Plus you'll release endorphins and it will give you a slight buzz.

I use a movie I've seen a thousand times for a sleep aid. 10 minutes in at the most and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

I think that's why I drank so much for so long. Trying to shut off my brain.

I'm home daily so I walk on the treadmill for an hour. That burns off the stress. You can also use ZZZquil, like Nyquil but no cold remedy. It starts working pretty fast. The capsules/tablets start working in about an hour. You can get the same ingredient (diphenhydramine) sold as "allergy relief". You might prefer to have "allergy relief" in your truck rather than "sleep aid". It's the same thing and same dose.

@Dave_in_AZ hit on my trick....re-runs. I usually keep a dvd or three that I have seen so often I know the script. Put one in the dvd player, set the sleep mode on the tv and give my pillow some head...

I don't understand this... Maybe it's the Army training, or maybe it's pushing myself, but I lay down my butt it down and I am out. Had a couple girl friends tell me they above never seen anyone fall asleep as fast.

Seriously I set.my sleep timer on the TV off 10 minutes and never see it shut off.

Haven't seen you around in awhile, miss your wit and wisdom. I agree with you, totallay. I'm so on the vampire shift, I sleep days (after playing on here and mowing a tad bit....) and SLEEP and wake up like now. My wife plays this for me.. she swears it helps me sleep.. heck, i dunno... its some good thought, tho! Glad @Boattlebot finally fell asleep. It's a lifestyle, not a " J o b~"

Don't like Disturbed to much... okay, not really at all, but that is a great remake. I'll probably have people burning me in effigy for saying this, but way better than Simon & Garfunkel.

I like the original myself, but the wife listens to the remakes and "cool stuff" to fit in with the kids...or just try to understand the teens, but I love it! .... and yeah...we will probably burn together, because this is ##### better! LoL~
