I finally found one open. I-20 Heflin AL. I forgot they had a scale there, blew right past it. Haven’t done that accidentally in years. Just kept on Trucking. Finally got my Load home. Time to relax. Been a hustle all week, barely made it here today, in time to Load. Feels good, time to relax finally. Got till Monday to drive 850 miles.

Austin had em when Art Acevedo was police chief - not sure if they still do.

I will say over the last year it’s up from maybe 10% to 33% of every drivers I pass or passes me is on their cell phone. And I’m not just talking pushing some button while it’s in the holder. I’m talking in hand, eyes down, looking like a drunk in the lane. That’s what they need to target. I’ve even seen a few guys feet up on the dash full screen iPad while flying by me at 80 mph.

and it don’t matter who they’re driving for. Even the Megas, even Walmart drivers. It’s gotten bad

You can see them swerving as you come up to pass them.

Prime drivers seem to be the worst. I guess because the trucks are slow they are bored.

He's an SSOS - and I'm glad he's no longer in Texas.

I got the sticker a few years ago. About 6 weeks later I rolled through the same scale (US 77 in Riviera, TX) and that same inspector asked me how long it'd been since my last inspection. I pointed to the sticker and said "about a month and a half ago, when you put that sticker on there." He just smiled and waved me on.

Heard a few talking on the radio saying MA/CT/VT/NH were all going hard on inspections. Pa/NY/NJ really weren't out that much

Made it all over the 48 didn’t have any issues mainly got the green light. Knowing we’re OS/OW. They know our company has annuals for the states. I get 30 miles from home in Florida. Right lane ok no problem I’m used to it. I’m OS. Right lane again. Well crap. Stopped on scale for a good bit. “Driver set the brakes and wait”. Ok I’m thinking if your going to do it get off your lazy butt and come outside in the heat and do it. 6 mi. Sitting there. I got the green light.
