They are yellow and the equipment looks like a old pizza box

Last I heard they pay straight time after 50 hrs. Lots of freight, almost always. Be willing to work. Don’t complain, or expect much.

I looked at them a few months back here in Camp Hill, Pa (I realize you're upstate NY), but they offered a $20k sign on bonus. Supposedly paid out over two years.

It honestly didn't sound too bad to me, it was a linehaul/dockwork deal. They said you run your load for the day (bid runs) and then work the dock to finish your day. Dock work was $30 per hour.

I know Camp Hill has pretty new equipment, much better than the trash they were running.

We'll move this to the LTL forum. Maybe somebody there has first hand knowledge.

Typically an LTL carrier will post runs, for drivers to choose based on seniority. So if you’re tired of running St.Louis every night, maybe you can pick Indianapolis or ?

Central is a half ##### carrier that has been around and beat down for some time
The last couple of years they have been investing in new equipment and it honestly looks like they're getting better.
That said, expect that the facilities that you go to are straight up ghetto.
The last one I went to was using 4x4's as checks.
The place I took it to was worse.
That is all to say, their facilities are pretty bad

However, if you don't really care and you're just there for the money, why not
