Entry level is a mixed bag to go on unless you are just looking for quick cash, have to look at total package/top out rate as well.
UPSF has a generally lower start pay & 5yr top out rate but some of the highest pay & benefits of all LTL's
ODFL has no overtime until after 50hrs but generally good record for raises & working environment.
Anyone work for AAA Cooper?

I stand corrected

OD doesn't pay OT until after 60 hours.
UPSF is a 4 year pay progression till top out not 5.
I don't think AAA Cooper pays OT at allarchangelic peon Thanks this. -
TM at Ringgold,GA must be misinformed then, was told 5yrs a couple yrs ago when applying at the LTL's.
Better for new drivers!
So ODFL OT after 60 & Estes after 55hrs. -
I doubt Estes or OD will ever let you get OT; that's probably to keep the unions at bay. Also, Yes AAA is strictly straight time.

AAA COOPER is STRAIGHT TIME, no ot at all. How is that not illegal?

Thanks to some farmers in the late 1930s there are a few occupations where OT isn't required - transportation being one of them.
Transportation, food industry, and a few medical field positions. Believe it or not some medical doctors pay 'rent' to there employer to have a pseudo-private practice. Also why Wait staff work for $3-5 an hour. -
