I'm assuming you got a former Link truck as well or you got one of the test trucks?

I'm seriously amazed this company doesn't utilize auto diapatch for load information. At Link, all we had to do was send a macro and all our load info came across right away. I could send my empty call, send my enroute macro (auto dispatch) and be rolling withing a few minutes with every bit of info I needed..... At Arnold.... Hurry up and wait.. sometimes if your lucky they will que up your preassign to send once your empty. Huge emphasis on "lucky". Been waiting almost 2 hours for diapatch info. I always send a free form requesting dispatch info once I get empty... Phone rings off the hook as well.

Yes, that sounds all too familiar. I would start pestering my FM an hour after empty if nothing had popped up. He would always say things like "I'm beating the planner as hard as I can".... It's a consistent problem, and I wish I knew the core reason. Are they understaffed? Inexperienced? Lack of training? Is there a corporate culture of consensus and everyone is afraid to make a decision? I was always thankful to be on paper, not E-logs for that reason.
I always thought it was odd that my first FM was fired supposedly due to too many driver complaints, yet he had me running good and got me home on time. The next two were nowhere near the same level of performance, yet that is acceptable....

On the same subject, I always wondered why, when there is a preplan, you've accepted it, and then when you send your mt, it's not auto-sent and you have to wait til they catch up with the QC and dispatch you. I routinely sent an open mac to req to be disp on the current preplan.
Me:Still at home. 3 more weeks of rehab after knee surgery for 2 meniscus tears that happened at......The pilot in Breaux Bridge.... Nothing good happens there.....
