Keep up the good information. I am interested in Arnold possibly if things don't work out with another company I am pursuing.

Unloading in AR then picking up in OK and delivering in Temple TX tomorrow. Drove through the beautiful Ozarks today and going through the big D for the first time tomorrow. Should be fun.
Stayed @ the Valero in Earle last night. Parking in the dirt was worth the quiet and easy exit in the morning over the crowded TA across the street. Gonna be hitting a Pilot tonite for a scrubadub.

I got my CDL at Flagler Technical College in Palm Coast. And yes, I went to orientation in Jacksonville
Stayed in the Conoco next to the Choctow Casino in Stringtown, OK last night. I backed in to the last spot on the dirt and had a quiet night because the spot wasn't as deep as the rest so no truck idling right next to us. Delivered the water to Clarksville and got to the Pilot in Russellville right as my trainer got to his 70. We're on a reset until Sun. We've gone over 2500 miles thk. For anyone who wants to know, the training pay after taxes is about $380/wk. Also, yesterday, blew the horn for a
kid for the first time. I can remember being that little boy and it felt great! I was getting a little tired but after that I was riding high. So far, so good!

    tna Thanks this.

Got off the reset this morning in AR and picked up a load of foam trays they put meat on at the grocery store. Only 9000 lbs. but loaded to the doors. Made it down to just north of Austin. Time flys when you have someone interesting to talk to. Practiced a blindside back @the hole in the wall TS we stopped at. Fuel pumps on one side and an illegally parked LinAmerica truck on the other. I like that my trainer doesn't tell me how to setup and when I didn't get it to cut hard enough before I was staring down at the fuel island, I you-eed and did an easy sight side with one pullup. Then we
went over better setup for blindsiding and went in to eat. Watched a few movies on the 34. Redbox, I love you. Haha Columbiana and The Immortals were very good.

Hey NSB, is that training pay for every seven days? How does that work? The website says every day you are on the truck available for a load which I assume you are out at least seven days most of the time.

While in training, you will be paid for every day after the three days of orientation are over. $58 a day.

The 3 days of orientation are not paid. They pay for the hotel, lunch every day, dinner the first night and you get paid for the days you wait for your trainer as long as you come to the terminal. I used my 2 day wait to complete all the online courses required for trainees. $50 a day for watching computer videos and answering questions about what you watched. Not bad. If people understand orientation is a JOB INTERVIEW. You are being evaluated as a prospective employee. Dress and act appropriately. Hint- Homeless Grizzly Adams and Gangsta McSaggybritches are not the best look to go for when attending orientation. Just saying.....
