May trucking company uses Prepass (paid by may) Most tolls are paid Ez-pass combo box - Most tolls are paid on this not all how ever. You never have to pay out of pocket just request the money needed and they will load your comdata card. If you turn in your receipt with the PO number issued it will not be deducted from your check. They have it set up so that you don't have to pay, if you over estimate tho the difference will come out your check - since you kept the money they advanced you. Make sense? -
What is the pay for company drivers over at may? I've been with Werner for 6mo and it's been horrible. Great thread btw man

Can you tell me if they hire out of the state of Minnesota(MN)?
For their 48 state operation?
What is their staring CPM for experienced drivers?
Thank You!!!! -
I not sure if they hire out of MN, call Opal you can get the number to call off the May trucking website. I would post it here but think it is against forum rules! As far as the pay, All things are negotiable. I believe they will tell you .32 to start.
May is great in more ways then I can put into words. Somethings are worth more then money ever could be, know what I mean?alex94 Thanks this. -
I would like to say that this has been an excellent thread, guys. I also must say that I am truely impressed with the training policy (no team). I am an ex-Swifty (PACNW Heavy Haul), and our trainers would take rest while we were driving (after they trusted us a bit). All told, May looks pretty good.
So after my nice words, here is my question. Do you guys have a dropyard/depot in the Tacoma, WA area? My home is there, and while I have plenty of room for a tractor, the 53' trailer would be an issue.
Thanks in advance.

May has a great reputation. I see May here in Santa Clara, Ca daily at the yard where I am completing my CDL training. Does May hire peeps from Northern California, I actually live in Santa Cruz and it would be a dream to work for them. I just don't know since I cannot seem to find out of the have any yards within 3-4 hours of my home so home time could happen occasionally.
I *really* appreciate this thread.

Mays drop yard is in the Woodland area (about 1 mile north on I5).
I live up by Chico and am required to take my truck to that yard
and get a ride home from there. You, again, should call the recruiters in Brooks and check with them. It might change your mind about working there. -
Im scheduled to start May in January. According to Leona since Im going on as an "experienced driver" its just going to be the 3 days of orientation and then I get issued a truck. Any current May drivers know if they do skip training for exp. drivers? THX in advance!!!
