Rephrased....I wish I had a clutch pedal.

am I the only one who kinda likes the ultrashifts?
driving in traffic is a breeze, mountain driving is less painful
my only gripe is accelerating from a stop, and backing, because it's constantly burning the clutch, then it goes all CA beep beep. eep jerk, throw
and then when trying to back slowly, it sometimes let's allof the clutch out unexpectedly -
I don't think you are the only one.....but you might be one of a very small group.
You say mountain driving is less painful, wait until you try to do it with a heavy load when its snowing and icy.
Jamesakaduke Thanks this. -
I don't care either way, but those main things you complained about, are the very problems I have with them. They are great in traffic, but suck in reverse. Oh and the 3MPH roll and you hit the throttle and it drops into 2nd and puts your.face on the steering wheel.chemsoldier1 Thanks this.

Yeah, I read about that the other day. Maybe our fleet will get some soon. Most our trucks have over 200k mi. so it's time to pass them on to other fleets and get those.
