IMO I'd go away from where you're at. Look at Long Haul Trucking. Yes I got fired from there but after I rewatched dash cam video of minor accident and was more my fault than anything so since I was new I understand my termination with zero hard feelings. They pay 90% (using own fuel card) or 87% using theirs (locked-pilot, flying j, petro, Ta, kwik trip only, but good price plus deal). Yes there are other fees but they have the freight and plenty of miles at pretty fair rates IMO.

    Big_D409 and bomoto Thank this.

Well, thanks for posting the numbers - as I understand it's yourself and a family member (spouse/sister/niece) team driving.

There's a lot of charges in there - are they taking the IFTA out of every fuel purchase in each state relative to the miles ran that week?

I don't know. Good luck whatever you decide.

    bomoto Thanks this.

I do believe it's about $350/week but I was company driver so not sure. Lots of very happy o/ops with new trucks. Sounds like a lot but considering higher % to start still works well I'd think. Think they give you first 2 weeks free.

No she's only been with me a few months. 80k is is just my side. This year we will do over 150 as a team if we stay where we are at it can go back a few months and post a solo check. Not much different

I'd recommend trying them before buying. They full flatbed conestoga trailers. The conestoga kits I seen are like $16k

I don't really get into the ifta numbers. I do get a refund every few checks. I mostly concentrate on buying fuel as cheap as possible
