Will be a lot of traumatized onlookers and Good Samaritans who were there moments following.

As soon as I saw 70 in the title, I had a sinking feeling it would be near Terre Haute. There is always a crash in that area, it seems. I'm starting to hate 70. All the trucks are either aggressive aholes or falling asleep at the wheel. Thoughts and prayers to the family of those two children.

:banghead:Unfrippingbelievable.... now it's EVERY SINGLE DAY with this crap.... "truck plows into stopped traffic". I've given up any hope of this industry waking up and purging the idiots out. It's gotten to the point where every time truck pass me at least 60% of them have that stupid phone held up to their faces, or doing some other distracting crap. Anyone want to keep wondering why we have to put up with the driver cameras now? Because of the increasing amount of ####### morons who can't pay attention?? :angry5::angry5::angry7:

Every other truck I pass has the driver looking at his phone. I'm getting aggravated and want this to stop as well. I'm about to start dropping the dime on these guys and calling their company.

Ideally, suction mount a wifi or Bluetooth controlled dash cam on the passenger window and flag all suspect drivers. Then upon review, you have undeniable video proof, company name, date/time, and truck number.

But, be advised. You're going to see some other things that you will want to unsee, but these will be hard to unsee.

    Bud A. Thanks this.

I don't know how to do any of that stuff. I still have a cassette deck in my Pete.

@scottied67 will tell you all you need to know.

Hey BTW. Did you steal my cassettes box down in San Antonio back in the early 80's? I just want my Kenny Rogers/Dottie West and Eddie Rabbit cassette back.

I was there and got out to help. I was three trucks back. I see brake lights from the RV hauler. I brake hard and I see two semis going into the ditch. I park on the shoulder and get my gloves. Helped pull a kid out of the mini van. Others started CPR right after. If it was just drivers I wouldn't feel so bad.

I feel bad for all of the people involved. The poor mother.
