I have a kennel that sits on my bed for my dog. I usually put him in there when service is quick and I leave my windows down and let them shop know. Other times shops (dealership ones) have told me I could bring my dog in the waiting area.
It’ll be the only B service I have to do with him. looks like I may be strong armed into the mentor program, so I’m assuming I’ll have to find him a new home.
Don't let anybody push you into doing something unless you are comfortable with it. And in my opinion the dog is probably better company and a lot easier to get along with than a trainee.
If I was you I would only train if you feel comfortable. My company approached my husband and I about becoming trainers. We both declined and said we were not comfortable doing it. Don't mind teaming with the hubby, don't want to do it with a trainee. Plus we enjoy our dog. Just my $.02
