Back over the road

Reason everyone stops now is elogs. They start early and shut down early l, where used to they didn’t

 

Give it a rest anybody in any job can focus on negativity and try to pretend they are so self righteous and say back in my day it was great everyone was so upstanding guess what they weren’t.1st in 2008 there was still a big parking problem at least if you were east of the Mississippi.The interaction with other drivers went away with the cellphone when a driver could choose who they wanted to have a conversation with instead of listening to the arguments and all the other noise on a cb. As far as the way other drivers acted I’m probably a little older then you but I remember the drivers you are putting on pedestals selling drugs on the cb you could park on any back row of a truck stop anywhere and buy anything tvs cbs what ever a guy stole a couple hours earlier you could get on the back row.let alone a lot lizard in every truck stop and rest area they weren’t there unless drivers were buying the goods.A lot of the drivers when I started this older hands had a bottle of alcohol in the truck they drink on as they drove a hand gun wasn’t the only thing in those briefcase they all carried.not even to mention the speed,crank pot that the other half was doing.So settle down on the other generation was so upstanding. I personally think guys would still help you if you ask but thing’s change I myself don’t ask on a cb if a driver needs help if I c him on a shoulder every one has a phone now I figured if he needs help he has already called someone

 

So sad - we had a good thing going - greed ruins everything
