I was watching the village idiot beating the hell out of his backup alarm because it would not shut off. Finally the "captain" put a end to my entertainment and told him to shut off his utility lights![]()

Companies that have beepers have absolutely no consideration for fellow drivers sleep. Surprised that they are even legal to begin with . All of the other drivers getting woken up in the middle of the night and then expected to be well rested on the road the next day . No way would I drive for a company that has them . Makes me wonder about the drivers themselves when I encounter a beeping trailer . They do have a lot of other companies to choose from that don't have them .

No Canadian rule on beepers that I know of ... it’s mostly a mega and rental company thing from what I see...
SteerTire Thanks this. -
When i had to install one..i hooked it to a switch. Then i could turn it off & on at my discretion . Why annoy everyone while they are resting. But then again we have " jake brake jacka##" that thinks he soooo cool. I think sometime i am gonna hook a chain or rope onto their "cool" exhaust and drive off into the night.

I just love listening to one of those while I’m backing down a dead end road for 2 miles.
SteerTire, Nothereoften and Dan.S Thank this. -
According to a thread that video was posted on right here on TR, that driver was suffering a stroke. Seems that could be the case to me.
Most people just seem aroused at the sight of someone having a worse day than themselves. -
