    I'm in that position right now. I think next year I'll be able to get a bid run. This extra board nonsense is royally destroying my sleep. I'm guessing it's no better at OD, ABF, Estes, etc.

    guess thats the perk at DFL. No extra board. straight seniority bid. Granted lowest guys get the scraps , but things can change every Jan and July.

    Will say though, upper middle board is a great spot!!! right @Bob Dobalina?

    My last local job as a mail contractor was pretty physical since we had to load/unload our freight. kept me in shape. here at Yellow everyone does everything for you. i can't do it myself even if i wanted to because someone could file a grievance for stealing their work. this union stuff takes getting used to.

    That's why I prefer unions. Nobody's charismatic nephew can come in and get the best run because of who he is rather than what he's done.
