Why not just 695 around the north side of town? I think I was routed that way once but I'm pretty sure I threw it back to just run around the loop instead.
CAXPT, cke, The Railsplitter and 3 others Thank this. -
You’d be time ahead on 695
Maryland is allowing us to run Fort Mchenry tunnel up to 110k, 11 wide and 14-6 tall. Could look into that as well. -
You don't want to go through Baltimore City with an oversized load!CAXPT, cke, The Railsplitter and 4 others Thank this.

Yea, I didn’t approve it. I sent it for review. I think they tried to give me that route about 6 years ago too…. Something going on on 695?
-
Yea that’s what I prefer, I don’t know why Maryland is trying to give me this route
-
Ok, I’d rather do that than 695
-
MD doesn't put specific routing on your permit?(I've never hauled OD in MD, but all the trip permits I have ever had elsewhere pretty much gave you turn by turn routing that you had to follow)
CAXPT, cke, MACK E-6 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Your permit will have the route on it.
You would have to be nuts to go through downtown even with a legal load. -
I just tried again, and it gave me the same routing. Im within those measurements.
