Wow. From where to where? Taking 285 around Atlanta to avoid a part of 40 in NC?
26 through South Carolina to 77, man, or 95, or 20, but I cannot think of a reason to go all the way down to Atlantahell to avoid part of 40.Panhandle flash and G13Tomcat Thank this. -
I so do NOT remember those parts, tbh.. blessing in disguise I believe. So much has changed since I ran those lanes...... for better AND for worse.Broke Down 69 Thanks this.

It is conceivable that the shipper or receiver is close to Atlanta on 85, in which case that routing might make some sense, but other than that, or if it is hazmat and has to follow a route with secure stops, I am drawing a blank.G13Tomcat Thanks this.

I'm going thru some 'diaries' of a 'lefty' to see if I can remember. I've not pulled Haz in over 10 years. Yeah, you are right; that could sure change the picture for @Panhandle flash .....Broke Down 69 Thanks this.

Not sure where your need to final out at, but that seems to be sending you the long way.
Hey, if they are paying a few bones extra for the miles, then your good.Farmerbob1, Broke Down 69, Panhandle flash and 1 other person Thank this. -
I'm leaving Omaha. Deliver in greeGreenv, sc, then north of Atlanta.
2nd drop is at someplace called jihadi international. Oh wait..... just put my glasses on. It's actually Chihadi international. LolFarmerbob1, intrepidor, kemosabi49 and 1 other person Thank this. -
And now I have an ABS light. Trailer. *Sighs*
Broke Down 69 Thanks this. -
Unless there are some sort of special shipping requirements for hazmat or something, I would take 40E out of Knoxville until you meet 81N then follow 81N to 26E straight to Greenville.
The rock slide is on the NC side of the TN/NC border, and you wont get anywhere near it if you jump a bit N on 81 to catch 26 from a different point.Panhandle flash Thanks this. -
I just realized one more thing. Make sure which stop is loaded to the rear of your trailer. If they have reversed the load order in your trailer, then reversing the stop order should happen too, unless you lump loads yourself, and know you will be able to flip the load at the first receiver without temperature issues ( if reefer.)
