    EDIT

That was loaded miles listed on the statement P+L statement.

In other news I was able to give ATBS my EFS card number and PIN number so they will be able to see my fuel purchases that way instead of me scanning and emailing them the fuel receipts every week which will save me a lot of time and energy. Still will have to scan them into Transflo for the company to track IFTA though.

Poor Abby has been limping around on her right rear tire for a week or so. Took her to the puppy doctor the other day, they think it is her ACL blown out. Pain meds for 10 days and limited mobility for 30 days and come back for checkup and decide what to do at that point. Worst case scenario would be $2500 surgery to try to repair her knee. Running solo at least til the fall which also means no hurry in getting the sleeper A/C fixed as it won't be needed while driving.

OK so I was able to find the March P+L statement up under the couch-- kids I tell ya. So for the month of March the revenue was $1.47 against 8453 loaded miles. We don't get paid empty miles so that category is 0 although I do a little bit of out of route and personal use here and there.

YTD as listed on the P+L is $1.42
P+L is showing I paid $0.56 cents per mile for fuel which is why they had asked for my EFS card number and PIN-- with the fuel discount it is considerably lower than that. I don't have the exact numbers but the 2014 P+L was showing $63k for fuel and the tax person going over it with me said with the discounts I actually only paid $54k in fuel. I was prepared to keep my big mouth shut on that to take the extra $8k+- as a tax business write-off. I thought I had cut a fat hog (if you have heard this expression). It just kind of amazes me that ATBS would call in mid May to ask for my fuel card details one month after the tax filing deadline.

I spent just under $12k for maintenance last year and already so far this year we are at $8k. Barring some big time breakdown I don't expect to break over $10k for this year in that category-- newer tires all around, just some oil changes and filters for the rest of the year. Still haven't replaced the fender the deer ran into last winter, not a high priority just cosmetics. Only anxietal concern there is if I wanted to lease onto another carrier I wonder if they would deny me based on ugly truck....

I did a breakdown for April in net revenue , fuel was 42 cpm with discount , 8818 loaded miles , expenses were fuel , 1700 in truck payments , 1 k for shop work , insurances , escrows and tags were another 1 k , so with 3700 in expense plus fuel I netted a little over 6 thousand dollars in April, about .70 cpm

For March I netted $0.4551 but remember that includes the undiscounted fuel price on the P+L plus pretty big maintenance job for that month. YTD is showing $0.4234 which is a little bit higher again when we factor in the great fuel discounts which are not reflected in the P+L. Another reason it is so low is because the DPF filter was clogging up and a broken exhaust manifold bolt was decreasing fuel efficiency to 5MPG's. Can't wait to get back to my truck next week and turn in the rental truck. Should be able to get up to about $0.68 net per mile by the end of the year.

I know this is an old post, but I have to add that movie makes me laugh every time Joe Pesci appears in that absurd makeup!

I watched the entire movie with the comments on to see if Oliver Stone ever explained why he inserted Smedley Butler's name into the movie, but there was no mention. Smedley was an interesting character, I encourage everyone to Wiki and Googley is name.

Taking an extra day off as they are reporting limited freight outbound Wednesday night, better luck Thursday night so going to work tomorrow.
