I would say that is true. It is very easy to get 3000 miles a week I will say that.

Well not too bad for a new trailer scott. I've seen worse. Out of curiosity, whats your weekly miles average?? I ask just because of the low mileage trailer. Also, what happened to your left fender on the KW???

Deer strike. The shop told me they need 5 full working days to fix it. I'm waiting til after the first of the year to spend that money and downtime as I have already spent my maintenance budget this year. Well, that and plus it will be getting a new chrome bumper instead of replacing that fiberglass bumper. In the meantime it doesn't look too bad and still makes revenue so we keep marching on.........

How did you get the VENTS added without Xtralease's approval ? Most shops will not touch 1 of their trailers without all kinds of paper work involved under the altering / modfifying portion of the rental agreement .

The shop didn't ask for anything, they just took the money for the job.

Been home for over a week. Going back out this week sometime though. Before I came in I stopped by a shop to have them check and advise why the steering wheel might be vibrating at certain speeds or at random times. The guy recommended a new Draglink. They didn't have one handy but were happy to charge me $180 buck for a 'go get it' charge plus the part and labor charges. I declined and drove it on home and picked up a new draglink and installed it myself. Bought a 32 MM wrench which fit the new nuts but had to go back to hardware store to get a larger wrench for existing nuts-- 1 5/16. Then one of the cotter pins was totally rusted and wouldn't come out. I worked it and worked it, tried punching it through, there was no way I was going to pay someone over $100 bucks an hour to do this. Finally decided it was so rusted just ran the nut right over the top of what little cotter pin was left and used two brand new stainless steel cotter pins to replace. Anyway the thing runs smoot like a Cadillac now. Will still be going through and replacing the tie rod ends and torsion bars soon as the bushings are starting to show wear.
