First you need to find out if either one will lease you on.
They can reject you for any reason and they won’t tell you why.

I don’t mind a rejection it’s part of the process. I reject also based on my needs and expectations. I see no reason why they shouldn’t also. I take care of my equipment and my license, after all it’s how I feed my family. I’m just trying to see if anyone was or is leased to either company that is willing to share an opinion of the company. That way I can make a more informed decision as to whom to go with. Thanks

I leased on the second week of Jan. and left the end of March. I was working the agent system, but their freight was dead. Pulling .80cpm loads just to keep moving, as stupid as it sounds... I grossed $13,000 in 2.5 months. Know how to make a small fortune with BME? Start with a big one. Bennett puts about 40 loads per day on the board, many of which are multiples, so it's really like 20-30. Landstar puts tens of thousands. Mercer is right there with Landstar and Tennessee Steel Haulers has a pretty nice program.

I went home once in that time frame with Bennett to buy a trailer, which i did. but i ended up moving to another company before i was able to bring it on. They are 75% unless you use their trailer which costs another 10-25% depending on what you take. I can't tell you how bad it sucked with BME and they did absolutely nothing to help you succeed. There just weren't any loads. And the unpaid dry runs for loads that were canceled or delayed. Went to load some street sweepers in texas. dh 700 miles to get them only to get asked "Where's your ramps?" Thanks "agent" for booking a mis-equipped truck. They didn't pay a dime. Not even a sorry. They're a frikkin joke. I recommend you stay away.

So what did you decide? Did you go with Lancaster or Bennett?
