Been burned by Craigslist sellers before, so I try to stay away unless desperate. Was hoping to find good places for new equipment.

The best place to buy flatbed equipment, from my experience, is Utility Trailer dealers. They usually have all the equipment you need, at the lowest price. When buying 4" straps, buy by the case and you will save money. For chains, I recommend buying US steel vs Chinese steel. Both are grade 70, but the US quality is better.

If you're going to lease to a company, they may have a store with good prices. Otherwise, yeah, Utility or Amazon.

I agree, trailer dealers are a good place for new equipment.
4" straps should be just under $10.

I've ordered straps, binders, and bungees from an eBay store called Harriscos LLC. They're based out of Oregon and always ship really fast. They sell a lot of tow truck stuff but their flatbed equipment is great. No complaints with the straps.

Also Mytee has an eBay store but they're a little more.

Be careful what kind of tarp straps you get. Lots of shops are pushing Platinum brand straps now, which you'll be lucky to get a single use out of. I prefer JB tarp straps in 21" or 31". The S-hooks will bend open before the rubber breaks.
