Better training pay than Prime?

    $700 a week training pay???? Wow!!!!
    When I started training at Werner years ago my training pay was $150 a week... and your complaining about $700 a week...

    Palmer has, or has had, a contract to do some hauling for Prime, but not owned by Prime.

    why look for or be concerned about the most training pay...
    you should base your decision on what they pay AFTER you complete training.
    if you're that worried about training pay maybe you should wait to make a career change till you have adequate savings...

    Werner training pay is $750/week. But it's also werner. Which you can at least say I'm not with Swift or CRST. They might of changed it though

    After your training is complete, how many months do you need to work for them to consider your training as being repaid?

    I think you are better off looking for a company that is a good place to work than what you get paid the first few weeks in training.

    Had a friend tell me he heard Prime had cut new hires drastically the past month or so, no more hiring from California, Florida, or Georgia, and orientation is pretty much a ghost town, no more busloads. Posted in the Prime Forum to see if anyone there can confirm it.
