Oh yea Werner Trainer Craps Himself. I read that one every few months. He pretty much earned a lifetime win with that one. Still laugh so hard at that one my sides hurt.

lets see .26 per mile x 2500 = $650.00 before taxes - $200. taxes = $450.00 and you call that GOOD money. Go work for McDonalds at least you'll be home every knight. To all you truckers, you should be STARTING at .50 cpm just to break even on making a living.

you can not buy a home, food, pay expenses, raise a family on .26, .35, .45, you need at least .50 to break even and thats still poverty level. Who's making all the money off the sweat of your hard labor, THE OWNERS.

You are assuming that pay per mile is the only Pay you get. At 45 cpm X 2,400 miles + $75 in accessorial Pay puts you at $1,155. Is that amazing money for sleeping in a truck? No. But, it’s not freaking poverty. That’s just ridiculous.

IT IS POVERTY, because I qualified to purchase a home under the USDA Loan program because I was classified as poverty so the government gave me a home loan because I am so POOR. If I made more money I would have not qualified for the home loan. NOW I do not make enough money to pay the Mortage, I am one month and a half late working for WERNER, now what do you think of that? You call that a living wage, I don't. I may have to sell the house because I can not make the payments, insurance, food, Taxes, living expenses, etc,... working for Werner. WERNER Cares

For all you truck drivers who would like to buy a house. The Government will give you a USDA loan if you make under a certain amount, have good credit, have been at your job for three years. You must buy the home in a Agricultural area in one of the 50 States. The hard part is staying on top of the loan payments working for POVERTY wages.

There's the answer to your problems right there...become an owner. Buy yourself a trucking company.
You might be surprised at how little money there is for the owners.
