Nope, he’s telling the truth. I’m in the same boat. CLEAN DAC/MVR/PSP no citations, only ever one non preventable and one OOS in 4yrs of driving. The site is called CDL Scan, and if you’ve worked primarily Russian/Indian/European companies like drivers like me your whole career, your CDL Scan reviews are HORRIBLE. Regardless if you were robbed of your weekly pay, and returned equipment or not.

How do we sue for damages because this stops us from getting jobs?

 

Yep, I looked it up. Shows a sample review of a driver saying he steals, threatens and holds equip. hostage. Another said driver is casino addict, don't hire. I wonder why there isn't a "Report A Bad Driver" section on a forum like this?

 

You can still get a job at a reputable company that doesn't utilize that junk. Just stay away from the Chicago carriers.

 

There's no need for one. When a prospective employer check's an applicant's work history and contacts his previous employers he can get the same information for free.
Also, don't ever believe that a previous employer won't ask questions that he's not supposed to ask in order to see if an employee is what he says he is. There's all kinds of ways to really find out if an applicant is being straight.
My favorite is "If you needed a driver, knowing what you know about this person at this time, would you hire him again?" I've had answers ranging from no to definitely not to "not even in a parallel universe".
That website is just another attempt to line their pocket's at the company's expense.

While I was running ----&--- my criteria for leaseing a truck was "do you have a valid CDL? can you beg, borrow, or steal, a down payment?" If you can pass these two qualifiers "Welcome to the ----&--- family! Time to pick out your favorite style of mudflaps !"
