There should be a LCD display on the ground control box. Try switching to ground mode and try and lift the boom a bit from the ground. If there is a fault in the boom control circuit it should display on the screen when you try and lift the boom.

sometimes if the chassis is out of level the boom will not lift. Try switching to ground controls, lift boom/basket up a couple feet then switch back to basket control and get back in to try to drive it on your deck to make room for your other freight.
Mudguppy Thanks this. -

Boom wont lift

Have you checked the hydraulic fluid level? Also, I got one last thing....In the basket, there should be a red light on the controls, somewhere in the middle to rightish side, with a switch next to it. This is the Over-extend/out of level override switch. Try pushing the pedal, and while holding that switch on, try the boom control. If that doesn't work, I really can't do much else without being there in person. Sorry.

Can you PM me the S/N? I can check the service manual and see if there is an easy way to get the boom to lift.

I did check for everything.the only thing i can think off is probably my trailer is not level but im on pretty level ground
-
Yeah, but those internal levels can get wonky sometimes. Try that override switch if you can; I'm really curious now.

If the boom will extend, that rules out low hydraulic fluid.
I suspect the out-of-level shut off. I've always drove those on to tilt-decks from the basket. Keeping the basket low to the ground should still enable it to work normally. -
I did try overriding it but nothing is happening.i hate old junk
