Box temperature is always 3 degrees higher than setpoint

    so.. is the box temp higher or lower?

    If its running high..
    Check for trash behind the bulkhead. I have pulled out rolls worth of shrink wrap from there before. It restricts return airflow and causing the reefer to run harder than needed. Also check the air chute for damage or pinched areas.

    If its running lower than set point, you may have a bad sensor and will need a shop visit.

    You can just get some rubber kazoos to fit over the bottom on the outside. Allows water to drain out but prevents outside air from getting in.

    My 2016 Wabash has "squeeze tube" type drains. They're round at the top but they taper to a flat end that can be squeezed round to release debris. They're "closed" in their relaxed state, although they'll still allow a trickle of water thru. Might be an adequate substitute for plugs if yours has them.

    Just need to squeeze the edges and it opens up and the debris falls out on its own. I'll post a photo later.
