That's why I loved flat-bedding. EVERYTHING I loaded was needed "last week", so when I got there, there was no fuss, no muss.......and NO WAITING to get unloaded.

Wal-Mart can bite me... I'll boycott them before I boycott a truckstop that refuses to allow their trucks in.
Can you say....terminal next door. And still complaining. Everyone knows that Wally World trucks are always welcome to park at a store. -
I have to agree. I too would boycott WM before I did a truck stop. Just recently I was sitting in line at a giard shack waiting to check in and the gaurd was talking to a company driver. By the time they got finished chatting he makred me down as 3 minutes late and didnt want to accept my load. Made me late so he could talk with a buddy and then wanted to have me wait a day or two, be rescheduled, to get unloaded. I am sure they treat their drivers better than they do the rest of us that haul for them. But I dont care if I ever see a WM load again.

i never had a problem with walmart distribution. they were always pleasent to me. guess it was my shining personality or it could have been that gun i had in there face. either way they were so nice to me.

I got better results by tossing a donut towards the truck exit-The gun scared them away!
Seriously though, if you can be at eh DC 1 hour early, most will take you at that time. Also, the folks at the check-in window can waste some of your time, so that cushion helps.
And Wally, that sucks. Guess you will have to stop elsewhere, since most drivers will keep using the truckstop. -
man I do not miss that crap....
trucking is so much easier when you dont have to fool with customers! -
Yeah but until the old farts retire, the 'better' companies won't hire younger farts like me!
And when you say 'slow trucks rock', is that because the suspension is worn out?
