Not a fan. Cooking means cleaning and a chance of an epic mess if things go sideways. I have a microwave on my truck. Plenty of microwaveable meals come in disposable containers that can be used as dishes while eating and then thrown away. No washing, no drying.

There is some clean up. but not that much.
    Worse is microwaving things.

I get it that we see things differently, but I feel sorry for you.

The only epic messes when things go sideways is when I sit on the plate full of food because I lost track of it.
Then it goes sideways and it is an epic mess.

A microwave is NEVER a proper way to cook meals.

Honestly, if you are smart and watch your money, you don’t need to worry about what it costs.

Learn how to eat economically and healthy, not hard to do but too many people will complain about it.

learn how to make routines into habits.

however I would do a few things, keep enough money to get home while you are on the road, think greyhound not airlines.

My advice, get a fridge if you don’t have one, a few ways to warm and cook basic things, load up on your OWN food! You can easily burn through $300 in a week eating at truckstops etc. $50-$65 a week for groceries I eat 100 times better then buying that crap.

it’s honestly pretty easy to save on the road if make a plan, you plan ahead and then stick to the plan!

    AramatAz Thanks this.

Unexpected costs as O/O or lease op?
First one is expected, as it was 8 trailer tires.

Just say no to Prime’s truck flease program. Otherwise you will be eating a bowl of taters every night for supper.

Stupidly, or just not seriously considering driving for a living. Most of the peeps on these threads that are worried about the hair folical test have the same issue.
