Britain to ban sale of all diesel and petrol cars and vans from 2040

Not looking very promising is it. Fortunately I'll be dead by then.

 

And I'll be close to retirement and thus not give a crap about what happens lol.

 

Days of electric peterbilts and Harley Davidson are days I'd like to not witness.

 

It seems more likely to me that by 2040, Britain will be mostly muslim and the politicians in power then will reverse all this so the gulf states will still have a market for their oil.

 

Few remarks.
In Britain the distances travelled are a lot shorter.
No open plaines.

Fuel is a much more expensive overthere so it makes a lot off sence to buy your own solar panels and a electric car.
