One of the problems with ANY company is this: there is no one-size-fits-all. My guess is there are many more drivers who ARE happy with Bruenger than those that aren't. Has to be, otherwise they wouldn't have enough drivers to stay in business. Don't tell itaff it isn't worth the effort, because it is meeting all his expectations. All he wants is the opportunity to go out and do his thing and be rewarded for his hard work. Bruenger is doing that. Moral to the story: don't criticize the man for being an example of the good things out here.

Thank you for your help, itaff! He is on the road! Heading to pick up a trailer, then to get a load from up there in Wisconsin to head down to a drop Monday morning just north of Dallas. :)

couple quick questions so I don't have to go back and read the whole thread again-- who pays the reefer fuel/lumpers/trailer washouts? you mentioned a claim where you had to pay $1000 for a bad load? how best to avoid that sort of thing? is there a lot of pulping and checking loads/documenting en route and such?

    itaff Thanks this.

Your probably right.. Been there for 7 months and have only made $90,000 dollars, and you where there for 8 years and went bankrupt and quit.

I guess I better wrap it up and take the truck back, to turn in.. Man just when I felt like I was so close..

Well maybe I can succeed somewhere else? Where did you go to after Bruenger? Did you finish that lease? Do you have some settlements you want to share to show us the way??

I don't know about the reefer fuel, but I believe IC's are responsible for everything else from what my husband has said. Itaff will know better than I. :)

    itaff and scottied67 Thank this.

@scottied67, I just asked my husband. Bruenger pays for reefer fuel. Bruenger also pays for lumpers and washouts. :)
