Calex Express....My New Home!

well i did my drug test yesterday so im waiting to see whats gng on with that waiting for mort to call about my ride

 

congrats just finished my first full week at Calex so far so good now I just need to get away from the East Coast for a spell did go to Michigan City and Hodgkins Il and pu in Burlington Wi and dlvr to Portland Me that was a great trip just waiting now for a trip to Texas or the west coast to mix in with the regional runs everyone in Pittston has been great!!

Good luck with re-joining one of the best OTR carriers. I, myself, look back with some regret for leaving them so hastefully. While I enjoy being home every night, I miss driving a comfortable truck and being able to do my job without any outside interference. Where I'm at now, it seems as though I'm always driving my own truck as well as driving someone else's (babysitting) some new guy. Most of the time these guys have no business even being in a truck. The one we have now is so bad that I could write a book on everything he's done that's stupid or just plain wrong....and that's just in 4 weeks since he came on board. He's bad enough that if I owned the company I'd fire him and just let the truck sit if I couldn't find a competent replacement.

 

JohnBoy I just want to thank you for inspiring me to join the Calex team with your posts and along with Lobster on the Bubba Bo Weekend Show of ATN. I will be here a month on Monday Sept. 5th and have nothing but high praise for everyone in Pittston. I run local (North East on Billy's Board) and am enjoying myself once again as a trucker. Hope to meet you someday to thank you in person. Be safe out there and hope your vacation is a blast.

 

Jason sent me a load for Monday heading east. Had the rotten floor torn down to the joists and the wall gone by Tues and the new stuff in by Fri am just in case they needed me back sooner. He was kind enough to give me the weekend as extra time off. I am using the time to replace the rotten wood on the porch/walkway and am half way through treating the new red wood planks. On track to finish early Sun so I can finish minimizing the stuff in the truck and cleaning it. Whew what a week, I'll be glad to get back rolling.
