Johnboy,
I will be looking for you on Sunday, I will be heading north. If I do not see you, have a great thanksgiving.

Well, per my GPS, I am EXACTLY at the halfway point between my pick up in Virginia and my final delivery in Deerfield Beach. I decided to take the west loop in Atlanta as I figured I had a better chance at finding a parking spot at 1:00 AM at the Petro as opposed to the smaller Pilots. I was right.
Anyway, it is 636 miles from where I sit to both places. -
Well we made it to Weiss, hope they unload us fast, so we can go to the shop and have them work on the truck, had AC and heater not working right since right after we left, even when heater is turned all the way down its a sauna in here, we had to sleep with the windows down in the snow in Montana at 24 f, wasn't bad but it gets old after while,
Gonna get us a rental car while here this time got doctors to go to and errands to run, and wanna explore the area, only been to Wilkes Barre and pittston, well not even pittston proper, -
Well back to the grind. I brought my stuff to my truck and both my loads are sitting on my computer. I empty in the morning in Miami then go to Jacksonville to reload tomorrow at 5pm at Budweiser for a load that delivers in Florence SC first thing Thursday morning. Then I deadhead back to Piedmont for another drop and hook going to Mountain Top Pa for Friday morning. Right now I'm enjoying my last night home with the wife and the two neediest Labs on earth. Be safe all. God Bless.
The Challenger and mile marker Thank this. -
Just curious but is Calex hiring any more people out of Florida? I'm moving down to Ft. Myers and was looking for a job. I've got a little over 4 years experience. It sounds like this would be a good company to work for.

I used to pull out of Budweiser weekly when I was with CCC, if I remember correctly when you pull through the guard shack, loadeds will be up in a lot on the left, I could be wrong. Have a safe ride and enjoy the upcoming holiday, been wet up here the past few days but they say the good weather will roll back in just in time for you to get here and get out.

Headed back to the terminal today. Wow what a round.
Picked up books and took out to portland. Cheyenne to Larime was a little exciting, but I was pleasantly surprised to find utah oregon and idaho mostly dry. Unloaded the stops a day early and enjoyed 2 days at home . Then off to salinas for 4 pickups. I expected to have some changes since it is tapering off. Calex has the nicest customers. All through the confusion, each shipper stayed polite and straightened out there part quickly. I was never able to reach the buyers so I was really grateful for the customer support.
Hopefully my ac hose and other parts came in while I was gone.Last edited: Nov 16, 2011
