port of Seattle will ban dirty trucks in near future I think in 2018? not sure. now they have scraps procram to assist in buying newer imission truck.

I did the small fleet option as described in Dusty Roads post. Last trip was in Nov 2013.
No there will not be a shortage of trucks hauling produce. There will be a shortage of rate cutting operators who are forced to stop running older equipment depending on the aggressiveness of the enforcement.
And in the event you might not have noticed, there are numerous unit trains that leave California every day with nothing but refrigerated trailers on them. Haven't seen any shortage of fresh veggies in any supermarket I have been in in years...White_Knuckle_Newbie, Camelclutch and DustyRoad Thank this.
