With all the crap that CARB comes up with, you'd think people would start taking action against the Kalifornia state government govt by now.....

That already happened, in fact it was part of the reason I closed my auto repair shop. One more thing Obama did to hurt small business...

Supposedly, a few trucks have already been inspected, including a couple of our own. ( SUPPOSEDLY).
I always drive through at night, the ramp is still coned off.

There's still some signs missing from the highway. But, they could be possibly getting ready to use that new BIG led sign.

Yup, every so often they show a piece on the Seattle news where they are chewing up a older port truck with an excavator. Putting that truck out of service.

I did the small fleet option as described in Dusty Roads post. Last trip was in Nov 2013.
No there will not be a shortage of trucks hauling produce. There will be a shortage of rate cutting operators who are forced to stop running older equipment depending on the aggressiveness of the enforcement.
And in the event you might not have noticed, there are numerous unit trains that leave California every day with nothing but refrigerated trailers on them. Haven't seen any shortage of fresh veggies in any supermarket I have been in in years...
