California CDL skills test ?

    Go to the DMV you're gonna test at, and check it out. There's a good chance that other driver's are taking their tests, and you can go watch what they're doing. My instructor took us a couple of days before I tested, so that we could get a feel of what we were gonna go through.

    I think the skills test is offsite for Santa Teresa. You will do the pre-trip at the DMV Office, then they will take you on a roadtest. Part of the roadtest is driving to the skills area. Ask at your school where the test area is, or find someone who is testing before you and ask them.
