It was emergency because in the ninth hour w/o a 30 minute stop you were bound by laws of nature to have a horrific crash resulting in death and or dismemberment and massive property damage. FMCSA says it's likely and they know best. Don't they?

 

This is the same state that now offers truck drivers "traffic school" for their citations, which when you read between the lines is little more than a higher priced fine with nothing in return. It's all about money, especially in these states that are broke. You're crazy to drive a truck these days...I only wish I could have been a driver in the 90's, just to see how much things have really changed for the worse...

Got a trumped up ticket in wi ....called the da,s office in that county instead of driving offroad causing propery damage i got a 150 fine and a parking tix......just google their office there will be some junior level da in charge justadmit ya screwed up eat a little crow and ask if he can plea the charge down to something that won,t force your 13 kids into the streat
Fwiw my wife is a cop and am friends with the da in ?, our county the da,s are usually glad to just get stuff off their plate when it,s not that serious

 

Isn't that a good thing? Go to school and avoid the conviction.

 

Don't see how they can do it under applicable fmcsa ticket masking rules.

 

in cali. they are judge, jury, and executioner. you are found guilty the minute you cross state line. might get somewhere with the ticket. but you're kidding yourself if you think you can get a lessor fine.

they want your money. they don't care about your cry baby excuses.

i wouldn't want to go to mexico. you get thrown in prison just for making a u turn. (remember the trucker last year) least in cali. you can donate your greenbacks. give em the finger. and still leave.
