I would not have almost 3 million miles safe if I didn't hit my brakes and or move over to avoid an accident.

A jury trial is going to run you maybe $20K or more.
If you really plan on doing that, I'd take down that video.

Dunno what to tell you. The crux is did you need to change lanes.
I hope you get off. But IMO you won't.blairandgretchen, Opus, D.Tibbitt and 3 others Thank this. -
Your camera clearly shows you in the other lane.

After the impact it clearly shows the other truck is completely in their lane.
Your insurance company, or anyone else that actually looks at the position of the trucks in relation to the roadway is going to come to the conclusion that you left your lane and got hit.D.Tibbitt, Diesel Dave, Old_n_gray and 1 other person Thank this. -
I appreciate the feedback and candid answers. At this point all I can do is explain my situation and events to my insurance. My truck is covered no matter what and I’ll get through it. I’m just greatful to god the steer blowout cased down the road from this accident didn’t take my life.
I guess I’m just a bit pissed because I’m going to be down for a while And I hate that.Last edited: Apr 10, 2022

Well - as an owner, I'm still siding with @LoneRanger - I know the interchange well, and can see the situation going down as it did.
He's in Amarillo and in a world of hurt with a ton of problems to sort through.
Let us know how it goes bro.Feedman, Elroythekid, Opus and 3 others Thank this. -
If I remember that exit/entrance correctly, the right lane ends and right lane traffic has to merge/yield to the left lane.
Old_n_gray Thanks this.
