I have been driving for seven years and consider myself a safe, responsible driver. Last fall, I was involved in a minor rear-end incident on I-10 eastbound in Phoenix during stop-and-go traffic.
Traffic was moving slowly, and I briefly checked my right rear-view mirror. When I looked forward again, the vehicle ahead of me had braked suddenly. I applied my brakes immediately, but my vehicle momentarily lost traction, possibly due to sand on the roadway. I regained control and stopped, but lightly contacted the rear bumper of the SUV ahead.
The impact was very minor and resulted in two small scratches, each about an inch long, on the rear bumper. There was no significant vehicle damage.
The driver later reported neck discomfort and indicated she intended to pursue a whiplash claim. I initially offered to cover the minor damage directly, but she declined and stated she believed more compensation could be obtained.
This incident has since affected my ability to secure new driving employment. I have been an owner-operator for six years and was leased on with F2F Transport without issue. Unfortunately, around the same time, my truck suffered a mechanical failure requiring a rebuild that I could not afford, which resulted in the truck being returned to the bank. F2F Transport has indicated I would be welcome to return once I am able to obtain another truck.
I wish!
Anyone know how to get a truck with no credit and no down?? Lease purchase options are not good...
Can Anyone HELP Me Get a Job??

A couple things…
1. What’s your zip code?
2. @Chinatown
3. Clean your story up…it’s messy.
4. Dash cam?
5. 6 years as an owner op and no emergency repairs money. That’s not good.firemedic2816 and ColoradoLinehaul Thank this. -
I am currently without permanent housing and am staying in a motel on a temporary basis. My mailing address remains in Phoenix, AZ 85028, and I hold an Arizona driver’s license. I am open to relocating and transferring my license to another state if necessary, once I am able to generate sufficient income to do so.
I previously had a Rand McNally dash camera installed, though it is no longer operational. Due to low freight rates, I was unable to maintain adequate cash flow. At the time, I chose not to return to company driving, based on expectations that market conditions would improve. Unfortunately, I was unable to recover financially before my equipment issues occurred.
Earlier in my career, particularly during the previous Trump administration, I was earning approximately $6,000 per week as an owner-operator.

Why not be a company driver for awhile?

Don't you mean no credit, no down and no income?
It seems your only option might be as a company driver, if you can get hired with that rear-ender.
By the way, that is an accident - not an incident.GoneButNotForgotten and ncmickey Thank this. -
I just sent you email with contact info for possible option in Utah.
Oxbow Thanks this. -
Is the accident on your MVR?
Does the accident show up on your FMCSA PSP Report?
Does the company you leased on with report this as a preventable accident?
Is the accident on your DAC report?
Your story is not good. Safe, responsible drivers don't rear end people.TripleSix Thanks this. -
