Not just company policy, it's the law.
And it becomes applicable for people like me, if I take a 34 at the house that ends Sunday evening, when I drive four hours down to my receiver for the night. If I leave at seven at night, it's not unreasonable to think that I might want a beer after mowing the lawn in the afternoon...
Personally I just don't drink that day, bit you get the point.Rusty Trawler Thanks this. -
It works for truckers too.
Rusty Trawler and striker Thank this. -
Actually, it's just a short way of phrasing it.
-
I just haven't heard it since i retired from the af.

Report coming in from Facebook--
"Heads up students, a bit of advise. Swi has zero tolerance on drinking while on truck. I suspected my student was drunk Sunday night but didn't see him with any. Tonight I saw him buy some beer in loves. Go behind our trailer. As much as I hated to do it I sent in message that he was drinking.swift called law and they came out confirmed he was drinking, poured out his beer, told him since he had it setting on the icc bumper it is considered dui. Swift kicked him off truck and gave him money To get motel room for tonight. But he is sleeping in the woods behind loves. Yes I'm a owner OP and been driving 29 years and wished he never would have touched that beer but accept the idea of me turning my head and continuing to train a possible future drunk driver. That's all for now. Gotta go!!!"Last edited: Nov 23, 2016
