Thank You and End of Discussion. Also please note that he answered "no" to the trucker part of his profile. I normally would have ignored this and pretended that the schools prescreen or the written test would have weeded out double-digit IQ's and maybe this has happened.

Owner operators, as in a real owner owner operator with his own truck and authority doing his own thing, are required to join what is known as a consortium. It's a pool of owner operators and from this list comes your random drug testing. I do not know who manages the group or anything else about it but NO a TRUE owner operator is not exempt from random drug testing or the consequences of failing one.

So much wrong info in your post it's not funny.

There is no section to list what meds you are taking as it is NONE of the testing facilities business!

No such thing on DAC exists!

Technically you dont have to notify safety about what meds your taking as that is confidential and personal info; however, if you fail to inform them and they find out they may let you go

So many people dont understand prescription drug rules and it is really ashamed as that is how bad info is spread.

Ive been under the care of a pain management clinic a little over 8 years now. Percocet 5/325, Soma muscle relaxers, and Neurontin and have NEVER once been denied employment or fired from a job!! I will never inform safety of what prescriptions I have as that is a personal and private medical info!

Can't take anything that is mind or mood altering nor anything that my impair your abilities to safely driver the truck including anything that may cause drowsiness. Bottle or mouth wash, Nyquil and so on can get you in a heap of ####. Letting them know ahead of time will reduce your chances of a false positive. Get in an accident and they pull a tube of your blood, your screwed. I don't see how you get away with taking Percocet's and Soma's. Legal to you or not, those would be a basis for non hire or termination if caught.

This is another of these pile on the OP threads. Too much 'reading into' and then thread goes off topic, turns on and attacks OP. Reminds me of a pack of coyotes. First a young one lures a dog out as if to play, then the bigger ones close in and they all have lunch. On one.

    Seen worse here, though.

One thing I have learned. In groups, people do things far beyond what they would on their own. Likewise, on the Internet some find the 'opportunity' to thrash someone else irresistable.

Would have been enough to simply inform OP that the meds from his dentist won't show up on med, that he should let company know of his prescriptions if that's company policy.

Don't see any reason/justification to take it any further.

No need to "read into" the OP's post,, by his own words he gives highly suspicious & contradictory statements, especially for the "innocent" scenario that you "assume".
If the OP was only concerned about the prescription amoxillin & ibuprofen, and he was not taking any illegal drugs, he would realize he has NO need to make his following statement of "But if I was in an unfortunate situation were I was not prescribed medications, and the company got rid of me."

Plus, why should he even be worried/concerned about any chance of them contacting the dentist to verify any prescribed meds, IF he was only doing those two legal meds?
Do you really have to actually see the elephant in the road yourself? Maybe the 50 lb pile of excrement is good enough for us.
Words and how they're written have significant meaning.
Not our fault if you choose they don't, or you don't have the same ability as most of us, to comprehend them and what they are saying.

The writings of the OP clearly indicate a "conflict" in telling the truth, therefore as most of the posters & I, are far less "wrong" to believe he is not being truthful... than you naively "assuming" he is "just an innocent victim".
BTW, solo or in a group, I call it like it is! No "pack of coyotes" required.

KW, this does not represent you at your best. Might as well read tea leaves and ascribe your 'suspicions' (transference) to what you saw there.

Does a disservice to the OP.

You should care more, embellish less.

I am drug tested WEEKLY by the pain clinic and they can tell how much I have in my system. I am not allowed to take them 6 hours before driving, kinda like alcohol. For pain during work I take a non narcotic pain reliever. If an accident was to occur, they can tell to the hour how long ts been since I took my narcotic medicine.

Due to people who abuse it and the ones who take it while driving, it makes companies not want to hire people who need the medication.

If I get called for a random, I will test positive, the company will never know, as soon as the MRO gets proof you have a valid prescription the test is counted negative.

One last thing, for people who have been taking it for a while; it doesnt affect me anymore then a Tylenol anymore. So its not like every night I get blasted, it just helps me be able to lay down and sleep
