Can old trucks run highway after engine replacement

    My friend truck has 1300000miles on it engine rebuild 2014. It freightliner truck. Will engine replacement work? Run highway long haul after?

    truck is still running but driver wanna look at options other then buy new truck. truck run 11000 miles month usa.

    So it's a 2014 truck when doing an engine swap you can't put an older engine in. So for example you can put a 2002 engine in a 2014 truck.

    I saw it happen at the Cottonwood scale in California. I was getting a level 1 as was the driver in a Volvo next to me. It was a big deal.
