I always called it "The last company job I'll ever have".

    Three fold -
    1. We had paid off 4 rentals, residence, and vehicles, and no longer required the high income.
    2. My wife teamed with me for almost 10 years, and had had enough of driving.
    3. I was bored with it, wanted a challenge, so bought my own truck and flatbed and leased on with LS.
You really can't beat it for a driving job. High CPM, no touch, no dock time, everything provided (linehaul), and teaming- over 70cpm, 6000 miles a week . . . but it's a lot of work.

My other problem was if I went solo, the terminals were a 3 hour round trip, and honestly running the same route each day would have bored me to death. I could have gone solo wild, and run for 7 days, in motels at night, which I liked.

Great company, never had much to gripe about. If I ever considered company again, I'd probably go back.

I don't know the whole package, but I'm pretty sure they pay around $0.62 per mile right now plus drop/hooks/fueling for linehaul drivers. City drivers in my area make $27.80 per hour with no overtime until 60 hours. If you get a chance to work for them, go for it. You need all endorsements.
