    LOL! Come now... Foul!

You obviously launched an intellectual assault on someone ill equipped to handle it.

    Please refrain in the future.

I'm on paper logs and everything is fine. My Qualcomm hasn't worked in over a year. Maybe if I were to get stuck out on the road more than I do, I would have cause for a beef, but I don't.

I say strike - yes. Especially cement haulers. I'll fill in, you know, hold your place while you do your thing...

Scenario... start your day at 4am. You drive the last 7 hours to the receiver and get unloaded in an hour at 11am. Reload is 2 hours away by appointment only. You get there at 1pm. Takes them 4 hours to load you. They tell you you can't park there. Big city. Now it's 5pm rush hour and you got an hour to find a place to park... Most of us on paper logs just drive to find a place and log it that we slept at the shipper. Not logging things to gain any time at all. Elogs you can't and it's ########. Load planning isn't always possible in that situation when you sit at a shipper reciever that long then can't stay there and have to leave. Then with elogs you lose that 4 hours break time and have to start your 10 over? #### that. #### e logs and all the ########..

That one hour to unload at receiver is 2 hours offduty/sleeper.

Reload by appt? Too bad so sad, I'm gonna be 1 hour late. 4 hours to load? Sit there 4 more hours outside the gate all logged sleeper and roll legal all night.

There's all kinds of situations where the elog can be a disadvantage. And does more harm then good.

But, some of the members really love the pos. I'm still trying to figure out how they can make more money.

Are you really trying to figure out how they are still making money while using Elogs? Many have posted how they are doing it. I have been using Elogs for 5 years this coming December. My taxable net last year was over $80K with weekly home time and taking 4 weeks off. Nothing dedicated. Simple dry box stuff.
