Cant get loads... Sitting, not making $

I bet Schneider dispatchers each say many times a day there are no loads.Theres loads but doesn t pay much otherwise they would take it or like many companies do,they give loads to other drivers in your area where you're sitting.I don't know why they don't have preplans while son is under load then he wouldn't have to sit.Your son has exp,He should find a local job that pays by the hour.

 

They do ALOT of Missouri and Iowa…..

 

I deliver fuel to them, drivers seem happy and pretty laid back.

Whatever he does, he should never abandon the vehicle. It will go on his record (DAC) & no one will hire him for CDL work.

 

Mean no disrespect. If your son has a cdl he is old enough to figure out his next move. He should be the one on here asking.

Not judging or anything. My mom would probably do the same thing id she knew this site existed.

Have him do some research. Have him look for a smaller company. Sometimes those can be the best.

 

The best thing for him to do while he's sitting for days at a time waiting for a load is to be talking on his CB radio to other drivers and finding out who the good companies are to work for
