Wow you really go out of your way to fill in blanks that aren’t there. Where was I rude to anyone? Lol talking about making stuff up. I simply told my experience that lasted a week with the company. Take what you want from it. Trucking is hard? Really? Are you sure? I’ve been out here four years, nothing in my life has ever came easy. Trucking just being the next adventure. For me, personally cargo transporters was a hideous experience. Their training was team driving. Plain and simple.

I follow trucking as an industry whole. And I see reviews on multiple employment sites for each and every trucking company that I’m curious about. And I see a pattern. In that pattern is when a former employee leaves a bad review it is usually followed within 24 to 48 hours by three or four five star reviews by the likes of people who work outside company in the office, family, management, etc. Maybe some drivers that have been there for years. Are they entitled to leave their reviews? I don’t know, but they always pop up right after a negative review to keep those ratings high. I see it time and time again. The only way you get a true review about most trucking companies is to bump into drivers while out on the road at truckstops and talk to them personally. That’s been my experience. And really all you should’ve taken to heart was the final sentence in my initial post. “I can’t say if cargo transporters is a good or bad trucking company but this is my experience with them“.
I could’ve sued them if I was a real a hole for what happened on that top bunk alone. Yeah I actually injured my ribs. I flew off the top bunk twice. Ask the trainer if I could sleep on the bottom bunk and he whined about it and gave me an excuse why I couldn’t. I left. Because I valued my life.Last edited: Nov 7, 2022

Also the training program at Cargo was 3 months long. My trainer would not have dreamed on my first week to go back in the bunk and sleep. I was told up front just like you were that it was a team driver training position and your trainer does not even start team driving until you have been out 2-3 weeks so you are obviously lying when you said he left you alone on your first week. They did not let just anyone train and the trainers were trained on how to train which was to sit and watch the student for 2-3 weeks and when the trainer thought it was time then you switched to team driving the last 9 weeks. Also they tell you to call me if you need me. Your post is bogus. Maybe the top bunk thing happened but even so you can’t blame other people if you won’t speak up for yourself. You seem capable of speaking up on here but in a way that is accusing so maybe that was where you went wrong. Try to be nice.

And you obviously aren’t reading my posts entirely. You say I should speak up for myself. What part of “I asked him twice to sleep on the bottom bunk and he whined and gave me an excuse why I couldn’t” did you miss?
And I don’t fall for the “stop being mean” routine. Nothing about what I’ve stated here is mean. It’s factual. You just don’t like it because you’re trying to overpraise a company that I had a different experience with. And you don’t like it. Well that’s too bad. All experiences by truck drivers at companies should be stated openly.Speed_Drums and Lonesome Thank this. -
Now that I’m really invested in this thread. Lol I’m gonna add this to be totally fair to my point of view. I chalk up my experience at this company to most likely the trainer that I had. Things I noticed about the company in my short week there that were positive? Their equipment was top notch. Everything extremely well-maintained all the trailers were newer, trucks were new and their yard and operations seemed very organized. Driver amenities were great. Their communication systems were great, they seem to have pretty good lanes. Lot of north east driving though. Lot of New York stuff. If I had a had a different trainer there might of been a different outcome for me. And at that Time their pay was on the upper end as well. Especially for just starting out.
