When I started driving 13 years ago, if you got a reefer with a Carrier unit on it, it was basically like being beat over the head with a phone book for week.
Fast forward 13 years, and everyone of them that comes near me is still a loud, noisy, wtf pos.
How is that possible? I thought those things cost more than my truck?

I wouldn't own one unless I didn't have to put up with being near it in operation.
Even the old TK classic wasn't as bad to me.Oldironfan, magoo68 and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
I have a sb210, and with it running wide open I can't hear it if a carrier is beside me
Dave_in_AZ Thanks this. -
Yes Carrier reefer units are loud. Carrier APU's are very loud. I know. I have one of each every day.
Dave_in_AZ and motocross25 Thank this.
