Carrier Reefer

    I have a older Carrier reefer. When I turn it on it goes through the pretrip. The cool light comes on...It beeps and nothing. It goes through everything again and beeps and no starter engagement. The fault light comes on and says STARTER...No error codes

    I can jump the wires off the relay that hangs loose on the left side and it will start.

    I have tried 3 different new relays and it won't start on its own.

    On a semi truck, the current is Sent manually (by the ignition switch). On a reefer, it is sent automatically. So my guess would be maybe a sensor or unloaded, or whatever that sends a signal to the micro is bad? Just a guess.
