They all suck. I don't know of even one company that gets good reviews. This line of work has just gone downhill and mostly the fault of government regulations.

    Yup, must be the government.
It can't possibly the self centered society that we have created for ourselves. Or the entitlement mentality that too many people have today.
The government is not making it easier, but we aren't helping ourselves either.

Our work place and careers are what we make of them. Only you can make you happy. If you don't like it so much. LEAVE.

You are 100% correct. Grammar and punctuation is an excuse by "hit guru's" covering for the company. I read your article with complete understanding and comprehension. I signed up as well under the South (super south) program. I know exactly what it is like to be stiffed by this company. 2200 miles, a 34, two days layover's, running strictly the Appalachians as a "fill in the gap" in the east/southeast for drivers that chose not too due to winter or seniority and load cancellations. This list is nowhere near exhaustive. The pay does average .42 cpm, the toll pay is accurate, in-cab facing camera's correct, condescending "special" dispatchers and managers that cannot handle any questions. As a matter of fact they shut down communication and expect you to "automatically" see things their way before they straightly answer a direct question. They will threaten you with your job and reword the intent of their answer to be merely a "response" to any detailed question you may have, which never answers your question. First day of orientation and the safety administrator gave the class on the in-cab camera's by stating the following "since we live in a day age where drivers can not be trusted we have these camera's in place." When he was questioned he responded "do you think I actually have the time to view all drivers' in-cab camera's in my work day?" Class reply "yes we do." If this is automatically the level of attitude and loyalty from the company then this is the attitude and loyalty of the driver. Since this is cf property you do not need a subpoena with a judges signature to get all the video you want 24-7. With a clean experienced record they automatically said they don't trust drivers on the very first day. They were told cf is trusted as far as I can spit...I don't spit. I seldom ever saw west of Louisiana. The idea of "well, we use the camera's in case of lawsuits" is the company bi-line (secondary). The real reason is the initial reason/line that he gets to use a viewing due to a driver having to use that space as a 24hr work station, home, communication station with home or any one else and bedroom. Your Load lock info is correct. Insurance is pitty-pot and where underwritten by aetna it is only applicable according to what cf allows aetna to underwrite, which is little. The pay is actually a "switch-hitter." .30-32 cpm is the actual starting pay...every week. Period. The other .10cpm is per-diem by their corporate tax write-off for wages but also covers any offduty/onduty time you incur for meals should you decide to sue them for it. There are mega hours of "down time" not paid for but this is corporately covered. Like I said this is no where near exhaustive and purposely written not to expressly show 5-6 year college level composition should some brainiac decide to "hit" on this article like they did yours. I know the rules broken here for this composition and can go toe-to-toe with any "D.A. (i dont mean lawyer)" that wants to change my story with elemental arguments of indents, sentences to paragraph ratio's, etc., etc. the argument of the forest is always defended by those that condescend the article by using a tree attitude. Try me...Please!
A lot more to be said about carroll fulmer logistics. Ain't nuttin' good and I will gladly slam this company any time and any chance! THIS is just plain dirty truckin' dealt to a lot of honest hard working and safe drivers that can not take a greyhound bus 1500 miles to another company when they want a job near their homes.
