Glock 19 with 2 magazines behind the driver's seat in the pouch at all times. After spending the night near Detroit I decided that I liked my life and would protect it. Then I delivered to a naval shipyard in Virginia...security and MP's didn't take too lightly to me having a weapon in my truck so they refused to let me in to make my delivery

It's best not keep.keep one in the chamber on any kind of Glock unless you have it in a secure holster..one where it will not slip out at all.. They have a very HAIR PIN trigger . Its an extra second or two to chamber a round with those but it's just not worth the risk they pose

Glocks have about a 7 pound trigger pull. If that concerns you drop in a NY spring to increase the weight. No gun should be carried/stored in a way something could affect the trigger. But I always keep a round chambered. Crazy people don't tend to give you alot of time to prepare yourself before attacking you.

Don't plan on going to any military bases - especially if its a high security base as you will get federal charges. I have a friend who carries and has a baby sitter for his piece when he goest to Canada. So long as you are careful where you go ( and have the choice of choosing your own routes) you can get away with it without to much hassle . Its all about choice...

The M&P original had a crappy trigger back in 2009. I sold it for that reason. Always felt like sand in there and a 5 pound pull. What I liked about the gun was it was idiot proof for the newbie like me back then and marked "No safety devices" other than the long trigger pull that contained a form of anti drop safegaurd within it.
The colt has about a two pound pull but two different devices preventing that pin from going into the primer. However if you dropped it just so, it probably will shoot even though it's not supposed to.
I have experienced the situation where you can have a 100 pound pull on the trigger (To paraphrase) on whatever gun you are racing to get a round to the bad guy right now. That trigger is going to be like a feather in your overcharged hands.smokey12 Thanks this. -
Polished 3.5 lb trigger connector paired with a black NY1 trigger spring gives me about a 7.5 lb trigger pull. It smooths out the trigger without sacrificing safety. x1Heavy is right about fine motor skills going out the window under high stress.
x1Heavy Thanks this.
