Sadly enough it is. @Humblepie had a relative that drove for Swift. He passed away unloading at a Walmart DC in Tupelo, MS. Uncle Pete was quite a character.

Swift set the services up and used their own hearse to transport his body. They said they had a hearse driver in the area because he just hauled one back from Texas and dropped it, and dead headed over to Tupelo to get that one. They definitely keep it busy

Sure it’s real. That just shows you how family oriented they are as a company. After they way they treated my uncle Pete I will never leave this company.

I wouldn't say this is discrimination, but definitely trash behavior at the end. Not sure what happened. Swift is no special thing, so I'd say look for another place. Not sure how making sure all of your stuff is out of the truck is an unreasonable request...or why a higher up couldn't affirm that.

My advice is KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT

You have a mental disorder but are safe to drive. You put it on your DOT card for any perspective employer to see and are honest with them. You did your part now KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT. You know what you can and cannot handle so only apply for jobs in that range. Many people do not have a good understanding of mental health and will automatically assume the worst case scenario. If you are asked a direct and valid question by a boss answer them, but anyone else, including a trainer, it is none of their business. KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT. You sound smart and sensible and I’m sure you will do well but be careful of inviting others into your personal life not everyone has good intentions.

Move on from Swift whatever happened there it will never be a supportive work environment now. As far as the abuse is concerned have a lawyer look at it and go from there.
